Arranged brings together a series of contemporary animal paintings and still lifes featuring native Australian flora, exploring ideas of impermanence, care, and quiet intention. Across these works, animals and flowers appear both independently and in conversation with one another, carefully composed yet never static. These arrangements reference traditional still life painting while grounding the work firmly in the present—where meaning is found in moments that are fleeting, tender, and deliberately held.

Flowers sit at the centre of my practice as symbols of impermanence. Native blooms, in particular, carry a sense of resilience and transience; they are vivid, expressive, and short-lived. Painting them becomes an act of preservation—an attempt to pause what cannot last. Through paint, I’m able to give weight and time to subjects that are inherently temporary, inviting the viewer to slow down and notice what is often overlooked.
