Chris has exhibited in Melbourne, Queensland & Sydney over the last 35+Years, an abstract expressionist painter.

Birds, Dogs & Animals. The art is to capture the dogs personality with an extraordinary show of keen observation, technical virtuosity and above all empathy and wit.

His passion for abstraction fluid control, an understanding of the medium and solid drawing skills allows a painting process where each mark determines what the next should be; the painting leads the painter. This process of simple fluid oil line and graffiti style spray captures painterly strength in simplicity.

Degree 1975 Swinburne University - Art and Design, he has been an entrant in the Archibald prize each year since 

2005 and has been successful and hung in the Victorian Salon des Refuses each year of entry since.
