It was in Spring 2024, during my first year’s studio residency at the Storehouse St Kilda, that I painted my Magnolia Floral series. I walked through the streets of St Kilda, taking photos of the Joyful Magnolia blooms, growing from people’s front gardens. I then went back to the studio to paint them. These works were included in my 2025 “Copper Spoon and The Moon” Exhibition at the Storehouse St Kilda in 2025.  Enza Benincasa, 2025.
