From an isolated country childhood to motherhood and children’s art teacher, I've had to be imaginative and resourceful—turning monumental ideas into physical forms, conserving materials, and accepting limitations. Over my career I have held many solo exhibitions and have been a mentor to many women artists, encouraging them to believe in themselves, keep going, and trust in their instincts.
