As a local resident I’ve spent over 30 years walking St Kilda beach, watching its light, tides, and shifting moods. Although close to the city, it moves at its own pace, often slowing me down and drawing my attention. In this series, I use charcoal to capture the essential rhythms of the bay, the fleeting shifts of water, light and shadow that give this landscape its ever-changing presence.
